Open office(Spreadsheet).

Prior knowledge

Students should know about basics of spreadsheets.

  • Teacher's Instruction
    1. Teachers should ensure that the students understand simple operations like Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division, before giving the Exercise.
    2. Students should identify the number of rows and columns before creating the spreadsheet.
    3. Teachers should explain about the autofill feature (drag the autofill handle at the bottom right of a cell) and how this is useful in filling dates, days, or S.No).
    4. Teachers should ensure that all Students understand the freezing rows and columns feature and sort columns, and also how to highlight the header row by using shadows for that row.
    5. To know the formula of a specific cell, the formula bar at the top left of the sheet can be referred to.
